The pro-Romney super PAC Restore Our Future announced Thursday they are launching a $7.2 million ad buy to run during the London Olympics later this month. The ads will run in 11 battleground states:  Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin July 31 through August 9.

Earlier this week, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie expressed some displeasure with the recent filing of a lawsuit by the Giants and Jets attempting to stop a planned expansion of a nearby “American Dream” Meadowlands project. “It’s not the way the business should be done, and I’m disappointed in the teams for having done it — and I’ll leave it at that,” Christie told The Record’s Editorial board. Asked when he thought work could be resumed on the long-dormant project, Christie replied, “I think by this fall.” Christie reiterated his faith that Jon F. Hanson — the former New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority chairman and Christie’s advisor on sports and entertainment — would find a way to help revive the former “Xanadu” project.
